I have recently completed a new work as a birthday gift for Derek titled Derek John Benton; because. It’s for 11 performers: Mezzo soprano, Tenor, Baritone, Bass, Flute solo, Alto flute, Oboe/Cor Anglais, Harp, Mandolin, Keyboard percussion (T.bells, Vibraphone, Glock., Marimba - 1 player if doable, 2 if necessary). 30 minutes duration.
I’ve also made an arrangement of the Sicilian Folk song, E Si Fussi Pisci, for Mezzo, Tenor solo, Baritone, Bass, Mandolin, Flute and Vibraphone, to be performed in this same concert.
The programme will include pieces by Debussy, Ravel and Satie + others.
